If I remember right, you are talking about my first devcon which was held at Pointe Hilton at Squaw Peak (or something like that). I think it was in Phoenix, Scottsdale was a couple of years later, at Scaootsdale Princess. Not to be picky, but I think Phoenix and Scottsdale are roughly twenty miles apart?

By the way, I am taking two weeks vacation in western USA, starting tomorrow, and I will actually spend the night between tuesday and wednesday next week at the same resort, Pointe Hilton. A very nice place, I hope it has not changed too much over the years.
