For me, one of the reasons was the way CA 'used' clipperheads. They went from user group to user group all over Canada and the US getting feedback on CAVO and using the groups and the clipper users to advertise and spread the word about CAVO. Then when push came to shove they suddenly announced that there was no upgrade path. I can't quote chapter and verse; it's far too long ago. And maybe they didn't put it in black and white that there would be an upgrade path, but they certainly implied it every time they visited a user group. Then finally, "Who, us? No, we never said you could upgrade. Get in line."
I know a lot of us felt dumped on. The whole process left a very bad taste in a lot of mouths.
I don't personally know anyone who has ever accused CA of being a customer-friendly company.
