Hi, I am developing an application which creates an Excel object. The application opens an excel file working.xls and passes data from other dbf sources. The application then saves working.xls into another filename and releases the excel object. However, without quiting the application, the application could not open working.xls again for subsequent data transfer (do while loop).

I am quite puzzled, because I have released the object.

Could anyone please help me? Thank you very much.
I am using VFP 5.0 on Windows 95 and Excel version 5.0
