In your View, you can select all fields to be updated, or just the individual ones that you want. In the Update Criteria, select the fields you want updated in the column with the pencil. You will also have to have the key fields identified in the other column that has the key. Then, in your grid, set your recordsource to the name of the view. If your putting tables and views in your Data Environment, then you need to put your view in the Data Environment. Then, it will show up in your properties sheet in the recordsource area.
I have been using updatable views for several months now, and they work really kool. They save me a lot of time.
