I am a new user of the VFP 8. Hope you could give me a hand on this.

I am trying to import an excel file (excel 2000) into a cursor. I typed the following

IMPORT FROM "abc.xls" TYPE XL8 SHEET "Sheet1"

It works fine so far. But I found that when my excel file have more than 10000 records, the above command would return an error and say "Microsoft Excel File Format is invalid". Is it a limit for the import command? Can I make it larger? 10000 is just too small....
