If its DB2 on AS400 using OS/400 then Visigenic has done an ODBC driver
www.visigenic.com. ODBC is basically a way of
connecting to foreign databases without needing to know how that foreign
database manages or retrieves data.
You need the Connectivity kit for 2.6 (this is Windows only) that gives you a
SQL pass-through handler. Basically you give the SQL commands needed to
retrieve or update data and it passes it through to the ODBC driver which in
turn goes on to the back end.
