:-( Just checked, the server had already Write Cache disabled...

>>>You don't mention what SP level of W2k the server is at. It needs to be up-to-date with all SPs first. Then, ensure write cache on the w2k server is disabled on all hard drives since you see the problem in a dos window also. Make sure it is disabled on all hard drives on the workstations also but the server is the key (if workstations are W2K also then ensure support packs are up to date and always check the write cache setting AFTER installing the support pack to ensure it is off). I ran into problems before with both file locks and other users not seeing updated records in tables on a w2k network so I got into the habit of using FLUSH everytime I save and CLOSE DATABASE when leaving the app just for gp. Haven't had the problem since. Good luck! Hope you get it figured out.

Why do programs stop working correctly as soon as you leave the Fox?
