Like I said, it is my assumption that's why he was chosen. I can't say why he's there as I didn't make the decisions on who is in or out.

>Precisely... and here is my question: why does MS not see fit to recognize Rod Paddock for providing foxforum. It gets a decent amount of traffic. And -this will blow your mind - buy why not award Steve Black for the wiki? Hey - I am not fond of the guy - but looking at things objectively - Steve deserves the MVP as well. The wiki arguably, is the most or one of the most cited resources for Fox developers. And most definitely, Steve actively maintains that site on a daily basis. It is clear that Steve is not an MVP for political reasons. As for why Rod is not - when you compare his contributions - in somebody's opinion - he was not deserving of the award.

I can't say why Rod or Steve weren't chosen, but I do understand your point.

>The issue of course is that none of this squares with Ken's assertions that awarding the MVP is not predicated on opinion or politics at all. The bottom line - you could be the biggest contributer - but if somebody in MS does not want you in - your not in. Hey - it's MS's award and they can do what they want. What they - and in particular what Ken cannot do - is make a statement that is not supported by the facts. Or if MS or Ken does - they can expect to be called on the carpet.

>By the way - congrats on getting re-awarded - you deserve it.

Thanks, John.
