And of course, he is a contributor online to the extent that he makes available and actively maintains one of the recognized communities for Fox.

Nobody was made a VFP MVP for speaking at a few events only, it takes more than that. Rod did not meet the bar to become a VFP MVP based on Microsoft's MVP award criteria compared to other nominated candidates. Rod did not work with Microsoft on the CoDe Focus issue of VFP 8.0, that was David Stevenson. Rod has mostly be working with VS .NET in the past year, not much with VFP. I would like to see Rod become an MVP for .NET sometime in the future if he meets the bar for the teams that give out the MVP awards in those catagories.
