Thank you for giving me an insight on getfilepos(). I am wondering if it is somehow related to how I got this error before.

I had an updateable view which is the control source of my grid. I am editing my record by double-clicking a row in this grid, display a form where I can edit the selected record. Then save the change. This is where I get the error. The solution that I made was to use a different bizobj to save the change and requery the grid's bizobj afterwards to display the change.

Based on the concept that you told me, I am thinking that maybe...well really maybe there is some manipulation in the cursor properties when I move the record pointer in the grid. So I cannot use the same bizobj to save the change.

I really hope that a fix would come up.
