George, Aleksey, Trey and Frederico,
Indeed I am talking about the SQL-Select command of VFP.
This is the VFP forum, the category of the thread is "Databases, Tables, Views, Indexing and SQL syntax" and I mentioned VFP's INLIST() and queried relative to VFPs line length limit.
Now I do understand the possibility of MISREADING - I am guilty of doing so many times myself.
In the end all is well because no program was harmed before the correct answer came to the fore.
