One that ticks me off: "am I speaking to the man of the house)" - these guys (don't even know who are they, probably fake cops) always start with that line. My latest response: "in this house we're not dividing people into men and non-men; if you're trying to impose such a social relation into our house you can... be gone! Thank you!" followed by immediate hang up.

If he just didn't tick me off... he would get the much more polite "we don't have anything of the kind here, didn't care to elect one".
