When you run a DTS package from DTS designer or from EM, it runs on your PC under your login. A SQL Job runs on SQL Server PC under SQL Agent account which may not have access to the VFP tables directory or/and correct DSN, if it's using one.

>I have created a DTS package using the wizard to take a table of VFP data and import into a SQL table. When I was creating the DTS package I told it to run immediately and save it as a SQL job. It ran correctly initially but when I tried to run the job from the fox app (and also manually from the EM) it failed. I checked the step history and it said that target vfp table does not exist. How can the same package run when I create the package but not when I execute the job that the package was saved into?
