>>>I took a look but it looks too manual a process. It basically lets you check the email first before sending it to the email client. Too much for 200+ spam emails a day... 8-((

Set filters as you desire, keep them visible or not, test them against various online spam databases, automatically delete or not, automatically bounce or not, etc. I have 2 rules - the To: field must contain my email address and no others, and the source must not be in any of the databases I have selected. You can also add exceptions that overide these rules, such as for listservers. Having used it for several versions, I have few complaints.

Martin,
Mailwasher becomes a new frontend for your mail - allowing you to screen or preview your emails before you launch the client. It can be configured to automatically launch the client once it has determined that there is some real mail. If you launch Outlook and check your mail, you effectively bypass Mailwasher. However, any emails deleted by Mailwasher remain deleted from the server. This is also configurable. Give it a test drive!
