I'm using VFP 6.0 and wanted to issue a COPY TO...TYPE XLS command - but found out there are restrictions 16,384 rows. In version 6.0, you can use the TYPE XLS or TYPE XL5 - but neither will allow more than 16,384 rows. In researching, it appears that if Excel 98 or greater is being used you should be able to create a file with a max. of 65,535. Office 2000 is being used, so I'm not sure what the problem is - could it be a restriction for VFP 6.0 or possibly something in the registry? I really didn't want to get into populating a spreadsheet because it takes to long to load the data on the busier days.
