>I have a client that runs an invoicing system written in Visual FoxPro 6. The invoices are printed using a simple FRX report. They would like to add the options to fax and/or e-mail these invoices from the 'Print Invoice' screen. I am looking for any suggestions and/or recommendations on how to do this. Is there any third party software that does this well?

Joel,
I do both. For faxing I use WinFax Pro. Take a look at the short demo program I put up here in the download section a while back. Look for Download#9759.

For email I convert the report to HTML with XFRX from eqeus.com. ( http://www.eqeus.com ) I tried a few others but had the best results and support from them. It will convert any report created from an .FRX. This allows me to email ANY report. After the conversion you use the HTML as the body of the email.

I no longer use MS Outlook because many users only have Outlook Express and you can't automate it and MS keeps breaking it trying to patch all the security holes. I have had really great success with software from MarshallSoft Computing, Inc. ( http://www.marshallsoft.com ) The demo files are witten in VFP so it was a breeze getting it to work. Using their software gives you full control over the process. They even have a dialer if you need it.
