>In the old foxpro for dos (stone age) it was possible to give a button a default key code(short cut). for exp i have 5 buttons and on of them i can activate from every where in the form just by pressing "ctrl + enter". Is this still possible in foxpro 7 ? I know you r going to say inkey(),keypress() or.... but i want to know if there is an other way to give a buttom a 'shortcut'.

Hi, Kurt.

Just put the sequence "/<" in the Caption before the letter you want to use as Shortcut. For example: "\
This means that the "shortcut key" is always Alt, and you can't repeat shortcut letters in the same form, but those are Windows standards anyway.

Hope this helps,
