A client sends me a form via e-mail, and I receive it corrupted. If it is in a compressed archive, it arrives OK. What is going on? I am using Outlook Express; I believe my client does so, too.
In the first case, the content of the form itself appears at the end of the e-mail (as a text, with all sorts of strange characters), as if Outlook Express was trying to do a sort of preview (as it does correctly with JPG, for instance).
Note: On my computer, Windows Explorer shows the file-type of an SCT file as related to the Windows Scripting Host. I don't know whether this detail is relevant.
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
