Well, that's good news :-) I'd double/triple check those settings after setting them to insure that they indeed did get set to what you think they are. "600,N,8,1" for example would give you these very symptoms, framing errors and no data. Make sure the port is closed before any setting changes. Beyond that, I'm at a loss. If the form doesn't have a lot of necessary baggage, feel free to zip it to me and I'll have a look...

>I ran the bitrate form and the data came in fine. The Error Event registered Data Arrival and NOT the framing error like I expected. So it must be something with my code or the settings in my form, but I don't know what to check, because the baud, parity, bits, and handshake are all the set the same.
