Hi Aleksey,

I found a trick around. Moving the database type from IMAGE
to TEXT... Paradoxically it worked for TIFF and JPEG blobs...

Don't ask me why. This may be about the text to binary mapping
in the "ODBC to cursoradapter" implementation.

I have been unable to repeat the case repeatedly and identify
the update of the image blobs to be the issue in the UPDATECMD.

The 8K is also cleary in the loop.

Building a scenario to-day that reproduces the case independantly
of this application that consumes a large number of cursoradapter
objects (both transient and permanent) is not easy.

The volume of data may be part of the à@¤$...
I shall try later this week anyway. Thank you for your support.

We were on the verge of giving the port of this app to MS SQL server
(it is originally a Sybase-only thing).

Kind regards

François
