FoxPro remembers the location of the original prg's etc and at run time looks for a later version - not a problem if the hard disk (c drive) is there. Its also not a problem if the drive doesn't exist at all on the client machine - the only time a problem occurs is if there is a phantom drive or a cd drive sharing the letter.

What we have also done is to open up the project file as a table ( backing it up first :-) ) and remove all references to the offending drive letter, then rebuilding the project. This is tedious and time consuming but I'm sure a utility could be written to automate it.
