Do you know any benchmarking research.. Any one comparing Interbases, Sqls, Etc..

There is many different comments about the reason of why Bill Gates bought the FOXBASE company.. Personal intrigues.. Took out of the market a competitor.. But, one of them, that I always listened was Rushmore..
