I don't think though that it solves the other problem that Metin is asking for. Which is an ability to have developers create localizations of the runtime where Microsoft doesn't feel there is a large enough demand to distribute a VFPnxxx.dll runtime. If the string resource data was externalized from the DLL into a DBF this would be a trivial thing for any developer to fix up the data.
