Has ever a development language evolved as much as FoxPro from concept to final version? FoxPro doesn’t just have versions it’s had evolutions. I've been thinking about this after reading recent articles on technology ranging from lifecycle to IT fashion. The experts say that technology at worst will die out and at best, technology finds its correct niche – the niche that it should have comfortably filled in the first place instead of marketed as the “silver bullet” for everything. The niche for VFP is working data – from the family antique dealer in Upstate NY to the biggest banking, brokerage firms and educational institutions in NYC. That's a pretty big niche. Fox is everywhere!

It’s a damn shame MS doesn’t want anyone else to know about it.
