I tried createprocess but it would only work with 32bit apps. I use shellexecute to run a FPD26 app from within VFP8 (my exact code that is actually used is below):

* The app is profiler.app
* The app resides in \profiler\progs
* The FPD26 runtimes reside on the workstation's local hard drive in c:\foxpro
* I pass a command line to specify the location of the configuration file for the FPD26 app also and to run it using -t and +x
