There are sections in the Help that refer to client-server technology. Also, "Client-Server Applications with Visual FoxPro and SQL Server 7.0" from http://www.hentzenwerke.com/catalogpricelists/csvfp.htm will be helpful; even though it refers mostly to SQL Server 7 the principles are the same.
