John,
>Rod did not work with Microsoft on the CoDe Focus issue of VFP 8.0, that was David Stevenson.

>Wonder why Rod is listed as Editor in Chief then? Nonetheless, Rod does manage to get Fox content into Code.
Just to clarify any confusion...
Rod is the Editor in Chief of CoDe Magazine and we listed his name as editor on the special CoDe Focus: Visual Foxpro 8 issue since that is his position and title. How we produce special issues internally will vary from time to time. As Ken indicated, I drove the content and coordinated closely with Microsoft for the Fox issue because that was most convenient at the time. Rod drove the content for the most recent FOCUS issue we just produced about Microsoft Office System, although I did the primary coordination with Microsoft on it.
We are a team and we share the load in various ways, so it's not always clear just from reading the masthead. You wondered why... so now you know the rest of the story. <s>
Meanwhile, I do note that Rod worked with Tamar to get an article into CoDe about Office Automation that used Fox code as the sample. While Fox is not a primary focus of the regular issues of CoDe, we will still have Fox content now and then -- and may have other special issues on Fox in the future.
