What is the value of the oADO_Conn property? Mine is:

goApp.oADOConnection

which is initially a character value in that property of the _cabase class. During runtime, the _ca_adosetup code does an EVAL() on it so it becomes an object reference to the actual object store in my goApp oADOConnection property. I leave the DataSource property of the _cabase class empty, and just make sure the DataSourceType is ADO. Those are the only properties I set for that class after my CABuilder creates the classlib.

>I already tried that too. It doesn't work either. The code still fires even you have a connection object. Could be a BUG in the VFP ADO object.
