solution can be found in VFP, I will be more than happy to bring the conversions forward. The reports systems are run on any number of PCs so licensing third party software could create a financial "brick wall".

How about printing to fax software just without sending it anywhere (i.e. to a nonexistent number) - the fax driver should create a graphic image of the printed stuff, no matter what we print. OK, no colors.

Besides, since OSR2, W95 has a PUB: device, which is a rendering subsystem; if anyone knows how to call it with proper parameters, it may produce graphics, and maybe even colors (I know it's what M$ fax uses since OSR2, but I guess it also handles scanners).
