Read it in college (been awhile though). Are you stating that the American system is based more on achieving and maintaining global power via arms than on christian love? If so, you are correct of course. However, our country does not simply provide arms but also endless amounts of economic and financial aid. When it comes to foreign asistance, the faucet is always running. Not the same for our own internal requirements. It is still true no matter the political goals or reasons for it. America supports its political goals more than its economic goals at home.
