Steve,

>I'm a long time vfp developer. I'm looking to learn a C#. I would love a boot camp type of training. A class that is practical and teaches "best practices" for business solutions.

I'm teaching one of our MM .NET classes in Costa Mesa, California on December 8-10. In this class I teach both C# syntax and object-orientation in C#/.NET as well as best practices in .NET development...this includes the use of design patterns and business objects. The class is hands-on, so you build business objects, a Windows Form, Web Form and Web Service in class. Although this is an MM .NET class, you don't need to own MM .NET since we provide an evaluation copy. The principles we teach are applicable whether you decide to user MM .NET or "roll your own".

For more information, and a syllabus, check out our web site: http://www.oakleafsd.com, and click on the "Training" link.
