Can you tell me a bit more about this? I can't figure a regular transaction that needs 30 seconds to perform. For me this is extremely long time. Of course, I'm talking about the time of the update process (from the click over the Save button until it is finished).

Do you have this kind of processes happening simultaneously? This would surely create locking problems. If you want, we can try to see if there is a better approach to improve performance.

Please, don't take offense about that. I don't want to underestimate you, but really trying to see if the real problem comes from something else. I'll be happy if I can help you improve your system at least a bit.
