Hi Dmitry,

Mr. Limbaugh makes his money by being brash and outspoken. He happily took the credit, for instance, when the Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives several years ago and such attributions only served to increase his pay packet. He will undoubtedly take any credit thrown his way for the outcome of ANY item that he happens to agree with, whatever the subject.

A person in such a position - who has put himself there deliberately - is naturally going to have ANYTHING he says/does/suggests (wears, eats, drinks, drives, etc) "inspected" more closely. It's (especially) "the American way".
