If you are talking about an existing project - then that is not new development.

The whole notion of Fox on Linux is a fallacy. For each machine - you are talking at least 500 bucks in licensing costs. And for that 500 bucks - you still have to use an emulator. The whole idea is a non-starter.

The only reason why any of this got play in the Linux world is because

A - Whil and others made sure they knew about it and
B - It tapped into the ABM (Anything But Microsoft) rhetoric that is rampant in the Linux world

The Linux folks will jump on any story where it is PERCEIVED that MS is unreasonably trampling on the rights of its customers.

Well...this all happened 6 months ago. You don't hear a thing about it now.....do you?

Linux is a credible platform. If I were to go there - Java, Python, Tourque, Turbine, etc would be the tool(s) of choice. Fox???? That is like putting the square peg in the round hole.

Selling Fox on Linux is no different than the snake oil salesmen of the early 20th century selling their cure-all tonics.
