Sfreports already first creates report with "CREATE REPORT... FROM... FIELDS clause."

But hack that report too difficult. Sfreports do it for you. And all control in your hands. You can do "everthing" what you can do in modify report, programmatically.
Also modify report is can be too complex for a bad user. My advice lookup sfreports. That's excellent... Great... Incredible...
