You have gotten a lot of answers, but the simple one is NO.
It is a built-in unreversible security feature for Outlook put in by the latest patches. I haven't heard of a circumvention technique yet.
If you really want the messages use a different client or write a program using POP3 to access the mail server and download them yourself.
