How to prevent ms outlook from block attachments?

Well color me silly. I didn't misspeak though since I haven't heard of this before but I will add that to my mental filing cabinet. I did notice though that you can only modify it with Exchange Server. I am used to companies using an external SMTP server account for their hosting which is why I never encountered it before.

I am glad that there is a different way of handling it, but it appears to be limited to those on corporate networks using Exchange server.

"NOTE: Using custom settings with the Outlook E-mail Security Update is only supported on Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.0 or later. Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.x is not supported."

Is there another way of doing this without Exchange?
