Prolly Oracle's, maybe Saxon, depends on various conditions. They are all good at different things.

Repetitive: no. You obviously aren't asking very hard work of your XSLT .

"biggest":

You should probably be asking "what's the biggest XML file I processed", the goal with XSLT, IMHO, just like any other programming instructions, should be to make it as elegant and small as possible, not as big.

That being said, when it gets big I usually find I have to break it into re-usable modules anyway so I don't know how to tell you what the biggest in total is (it's like procedure files and inheritance, right? Do you count the superclass code and the base class behavior in with your class when you say how "big" it is?)
