I'm trying to validate a record in a grid before a user moves to the next record. I think the logical choice to put my validation code is the BeforeRowColChange Event. It doesn't appear that the AfterRowColChange Event fires (I have code to refresh the form). Basically, my controls that are bound to the same recordsource (not part of the grid) are not refreshing and the AfterRowColChange Event is not firing. If I take out the code and run the default, everything works as advertised.

Is this the best place for validation? I don't want to the user to move off the record until the record has been validated.
