**IF** the view is using a table that is not already open (and sometimes even if the table is opened elsewhere), it **could** be that the missing variable is actually in an index tag expression.

So if all else fails, have a look at the tags of the tables in the query to see if they might have expressions in a TAG that may be referrring to a variable that is not in scope.
