I still don't have a firm grasp on error handling in VFP. In previous versions of FoxPro I would have a PRG that contained all error handling and each program would contain an ON ERROR statement pointing to that PRG. In VFP there are ErrorEvent methods on control and on forms and you can have an ON ERROR routine as well.

I've discovered that certain errors don't go to my error handler even with ON ERROR. It seems like it is going through .ErrorEvent and giving VFP defaults since I have no code there.

Does anyone have any good guidelines or know of a any good reference material that will help me to determine what types of errors need to be handled by each level of error checking? TIA
