Apologies for getting back so late but, to answer your question: No, I haven't had any more dialog about this.
I've looked over the other answers and see possiblities from combining both Cathy's and Donald's replies - some utility that uses Cathy's code to make the adjustments on a printing by printing case, saving the last set of alignment positions used by the current user.
