Yes I am trying to intergrate Word as a Note editor. I will generate a filename and save it in foxpro then call Word with this file name so the user can write to it. Then Ideally they will save the doc in word and (Somehow exit back to Foxpro) It would be nice here to control the exit or quit command in Word. I would like to keep word loaded in case they want to edit or create another note I do not want to have to reload word. Then when exiting the App I would leave Word in the State I found it in when I started the app. Some sort of Object or Form property to store the current state of Word loaded or not loaded. Thanks for all your help automation is truely a black science. But I can be a life saver. Thank again for both your responses I will play with is some more today and see if I can get to to work alittle bit more.
