No....no exclusive opening of the file...our app definitely sets Exlusive off. And..no other application uses our tables. The size of the memo file is only about 10K...not that big, eh! And...I don't know about the virus stuff....but one of the developers here asked me to check on that today. still waiting to hear back from the customer on that one.
