FWIW I dont actually believe that VFP receives subsidies from the windows group. VFP is in the tools division and according to MSFT's 10Q filing the tools group appears to be profitable. Products that receive subsidies from Windows, Server/Tools, and Office are MSN and XBOX.

Microsoft started breaking out their #'s some time ago. Which is very intersting.

FWIW, VFP probably received a subsidy from MSDN but that's pure speculation on my part (and on your part).
