Hello,

I have a huge problem.

I am trying to restore the master database on the server on my machine.

The first issue when trying to restore the master database in I get a single user mode must be set.

What I have tried to do is runt this script from the binn directory

sqlservr.exe -c -m


My collegue has managed to place the database into single user mode but then he gets an error stating that you cannot restore the master on a different server..

Any ideas please let me know..
