>What are the advantages & disadvantages of having cluster index on composite key than having it on a singular key?

Biggest disadvantage: Write performance. Clustered indexes should be in progressively incrementing columns, e.g., an identity column. It is not likely that a composite index will be progressively incrementing.

Biggest advantage: hmm...
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
