Don't stop OOPing! :)

How quickly do the other developers need to produce actual working code?
Assuming that it's not right away, and they must have had something about them you felt was worth hiring, I'd recommend having them start on learning the ropes from the included samples. Although you may not have them do things exactly as the samples do, this will provide a good beginning.

Concurrently, you could have go ahead and code the module (or part of it) the way they know how, then use your knowledge of OOP to show them how to do it in OOP instead. This will duplicate work for them (and hopefully not take you long), but at this point, if they have to redo the module, so what? You have helped them build on their existing knowledge, which I've always find helps understanding of new concepts.
