The VFP8 SP1 readme indicates a couple of fixes which correct issues that caused the above error in unpatched VFP8. I have an application that will generate such an error intermittently. I have applied the SP to my development machine, rebuilt the exe, and re-deployed the runtimes-- yet if data is entered long enough the error still eventually occurs. Like one of the items in the readme, it seems to be tied to using ROLLBACK, although I'm not sure a GO TOP is part of this particular scenario. This is a VFE application, so I don't know all of what is going on under the hood.

Can anyone at MSFT comment on whether there are still unfixed issues related to this?

Any ideas for things to try other than going back to VFP 7 for this app (pretty major undertaking in my case). The users cannot live with this one as it stands.
