Ok, I took a look at the page, and I am running into the same problem. I'm not sure about VB, but I was able to solve it by renaming the class to something different.

I wouldn't think that a control and the class couldn't have the same name, but it looks like it to me. I renamed the UpcomingMeeting class in the code-behind, to NewUpcomingMeeting and saved the file. Then I was able to rename the label to UpcomingMeeting. I don't think this is problem in C#, but then I name all of my controls with an abbreviation so I know something about the type of object that it is, like lblUpcomingMeeting.
